Significance (Significance, #1)

Significance (Significance, #1) - Shelly Crane another great book by Shelly Crane!! Love Maggie and Caleb, though not as much as Merrick and Sherry. But I still love them.

Seventeen year old Maggie has barely graduated high school after one of the worst school years of her life. Her mom left, leaving Maggie motherless and her father depressed. Her boyfriend of 3 years leaves her at the worst time to focus on college. This is so not how her senior year is supposed to be.

The day of graduation Maggie has a run in, literally, with Caleb and saves him from becoming today's road kill. Soon Maggie's life becomes even more chaotic after touching Caleb, learning they have imprinted. Feelings and emotions are amped up between the two, leaving her breathless and confused. Her dad starts coming out of his funk wanting to be a dad again and Chad, her ex is wanting her back. Maggie is learning what being imprinted means, and that not everyone is as excited about Caleb finding his Significant. With the revelation of the imprint, old enemies will cause trouble and tensions will flare.

Characters are absolutely genuine and real, aside from their supernatural powers, they have problems like everyone else. I just think the world of Caleb and his protective nature for Maggie. Maggie is a smart girl. She wants to make sure the feelings between her and Caleb are real and not fabricated due to the imprint. Crane writes a swoon worthy romance with a plot that is unique and deliriously addictive. I just wonder if Shelly Crane even knows how to write a bad book with a bad story line? I highly doubt it. I was immediately sucked into the story, as I was with her Collide series. Now I am patiently waiting for the sequel of Significance to make its appearance this month. Crane’s books are a must read!!
