The Force of Wind: Elemental Mysteries Book 3

The Force of Wind - Elizabeth Hunter Beatrice and Gio arrive on a secluded island in the Far East in search of her father, Stephen, and most of all in search of answers. Old friends and new acquaintances will come together in this amazing story to help Beatrice and Gio as they seek to find what the manuscript holds. Why is Lorenzo after his grand sire’s manuscript? What could it possibly hold that Lorenzo would kill for it?

So I am really excited to be reviewing The Force of Wind for the blog tour (its starts March 5th), but mainly just because I love this series so very much. When I first started this series I underestimated how much a hold it would have on me. Now here I am just finishing book 3 and I find it keeps getting better. None of the books are the same…each offering different storylines and fresh ideas.

If you have read my other reviews on the Elemental Mysteries books you know I love Gio so much. He is my ideal vampire and he is sexy and he is…well he is just plain hot! Literally and figuratively. He is still absolutely swoonworthy and has gotten better as the series goes on. Oh woes is me when the day comes and this series ends, I will be going through my Gio withdrawals.

All of Hunter’s characters are so well written you feel as if you have known them forever, like a lifelong friend. They each have such a well-developed background you can tell this author cares about each one when she writes. And I love where she is taking Beatrice's character; she has grown so much from when we were first introduced to her. I will say that you Carwyn fans will be a little disappointed that he is not in the book as much.

Hunter gave us another fabulous storyline that is full of romance, mystery, and a few shocking revelations. To say I was stunned halfway through the book is putting it mildly. Kudos Elizabeth for another amazing page turner that was so brilliantly written you had me falling in love with Gio all over again. Sigh, now for the wait until the final book, The Fall of Water.
